This blog is platform for me to discuss one of my favorite pastimes, “reality” television. I’m not sure why, but I find it rather entertaining. I don’t discriminate, I watch practically every cable reality show and I’m familiar with most major network reality shows. Anything from VH1’s many celebrity dating shows to MTV’s series following the newest teenage parents to BRAVO’s chef’s, stylists, and housewives; I watch. I was first introduced to reality television by MTV’s “Real World”. You know…”The true story of seven strangers, picked to live in a house and have their lives taped to find out what happens when people stop being polite…and start getting real.” I was hooked from the beginning. Now as a graduate student at Georgetown University, reality television is still my guilty pleasure.
